Well, we're here ...
Things, of course, are not progressing the way anyone planned, but I'm surrounded by family and Gypsy Weeble has already come by and give me the welcome hug so at least I got 'folks'.
I finally got Dad's AOL (grrr) to let me on the board so I can stay in touch with everyone here for now.
I (duh) didn't print out all our e-mail addresses so if ya'll would e-mail us at Max_Chopper@Yahoo.com and Grizzly_Mary@Yahoo.com
we will then be able to do e-mails with all of ya. (That includes you too Faye)
I got cold riding with the windows open at around 6:30 PM yesterday, it definately is not as hot as North (by God) Carolina here.
Someone carried our 'enough clothes for 5 days' suitcase into the truck and it is buried somewhere up and out of sight or reach until we get things moved into storage.
So ... a quick trip to Wally-World and we at least have more drawers than the ones we hand washed our last night in the house and wore on the ride up.
I have access to all the board menus so I shouldn't have to force Dave or anyone to help Ridin admin the board.
There is no AT&T service in this area so someone save the Dave Mann Images for us in case they disapear if/when my bellsouth webpages get deleted.

There is an A&W just a piece up the road and my bro-in-law says they got good specials and the food is very tasty.
They went and got subs at a local owned sub-shop the other afternoon and Mary and I got 1/2 size subs ... each half sub was like 16 inches long and amost as big around as a roll of toilet paper.
I guess I found a temporary replacement for Hendrix Barbeque.
Temporary??? Yes, I am going to stay here until I get Dad's house squared away and hope that Dad's health improves enough to travel and I can talk everyone into following me back to NC.
Either way ... I will be back.
